Dr. Sabrina Stroud
Acupuncture, Acupuncture Needling and Electrotherapy (No Modalities and Bodywork)
Sabrina Stroud is a Doctor of Acupuncture and a Certified Sports Medicine Acupuncturist with a deep passion for helping people overcome pain, whether it’s been present for a few weeks or over two decades. Known for her thorough, results-driven approach, Sabrina often becomes the go-to practitioner when clients have tried everything else without lasting relief. She takes pride in offering one-on-one sessions tailored to the unique needs of each individual, creating a treatment experience that is both personalized and highly effective.
Sabrina specializes in orthopedic acupuncture and has completed the most advanced orthopedic acupuncture program in North America, based in San Diego. Recognized as one of the top 10 practitioners to complete the program, she was invited back to serve as a Teaching Assistant, helping train future cohorts of sports medicine acupuncturists.
In the fall of 2024, Sabrina further expanded her expertise by completing a self-directed cadaver dissection in Florida, an experience that significantly deepened her anatomical knowledge and clinical precision.
Before becoming an acupuncturist, Sabrina spent four years as a Registered Massage Therapist. While she no longer offers massage therapy as a standalone service, her background in manual therapy continues to inform her practice. She often integrates bodywork techniques such as cupping, gua sha, and myofascial release to enhance pain relief and overall results.
In addition to treating musculoskeletal and pain-related conditions, Sabrina is passionate about supporting clients with nervous system regulation, digestive issues, women’s health, and mental/emotional well-being.

Patient-Centered Philosophy
Traditional Chinese Medicine, with its focus on balancing the body's energy and promoting natural healing, can complement the more Westernized approach of Sports Medicine, which emphasizes injury prevention, rehabilitation, and optimizing physical performance. Integrating these two approaches allows for the consideration of the person as a whole and tailor the treatments to meet the specific needs of each individual.
